Trademark

Trademark consists of all kind of signs being represented graphically which can be published and reproduced by printing such as words (including personal names), devices, letters, numerals, shape of the goods or their packaging, provided that it is capable of distinguishing the goods and services of one undertaking from the goods and services of other undertakings.

A trademark is not protected unless it is registered. The registration and protection of a trademark is carried out pursuant to Decree Law 556. Corporate name is not assessed as a trademark unless it is registered.
